About Toby
Toby is a sweet 3 year old greyhound boy with a heart of gold. He was rescued together with greyhound boy Spot- Toby’s lucky day really as we were only supposed to take Spot with us that day! But how could we leave this poor fella behind knowing what fate was waiting for him if we didn’t…
He is an affectionate boy and loves a cuddle. His experience with humans was limited when he came into our care and initially Toby can be a bit timid when meeeting new people or if introduced to new situations. Toby’s confidence however is growing every day and he is a quick learner.
Toby is a vocal dog and likes to ‘talk’- he sometimes grumbles which is just his way of communicating with you. He just wants to let you know he is happy! Another way of telling you that he is happy is to lie on your bed with all four legs up in the air! Toby wears a big smile when he does it too!
He has been living in foster care with other boys and girls and loves canine company. He loves human company and affection too and we think he would be happiest if he shared his new permanent home with another dog.
His ideal family integrates him into their routine and takes him to fun places where he can run around, like the beach or the country.
Toby is a young boy with his entire life ahead of him and he is playful and energetic. He loves his daily walks, cuddles and food and makes a fantastic pet. He really is top bloke!
