About Honey (On Trial 18/5/13)
Honey is a 10 month old Mini Foxy x. She is sweet and loving and is also one of the happiest dogs I have ever known. She spends her day doing the rounds to all of the other foster dogs she is living with and makes it a point to play with each and everyone of them. Roughing it up with the Staffy or playing chase with the pups, she is the dog that makes even the most timid dog come out of their shell.
Honey loves to play with toys but mostly uses them to entice the other dogs to chase her. Darting around the backyard she will entertain herself for hours whether it be a leaf, a toy or just laying on her bed to have a nap. At night she finds solace cuddling up in the legs of the wolfhound or having a cuddle on my lap.
After spending nearly a month in the pound, Honey came out skin and bones but from the moment I held her in my arms her tail started wagging and hasn't stopped. Honey's favourite time of the day is breakfast, lunch, dinner and especially snack time. She has a healthy appetite, has gained weight and is now thriving. Honey's coat is quite thin so in the colder months she will need to wear a coat.
A home where Honey can have access to both inside and outside would be ideal so she can come in at night to sleep and play outside if she wants to. She is housetrained.
For more information or to meet Honey please phone foster carer Shiree on 02 43 921 834 or email shiree78@hotmail.com .
Honey is in foster care in Kanwal on the Central Coast, NSW 2259. Honey's $450 adoption fee covers her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
