About Sheikha & Tahlia (On Trial in a new home 11/1/13)
2 Black Labradors – Must stay together! Mother and daughter pure bred black Labradors. Mum is 8 years and daughter is 6 years old. Given they have been together all of their life, we would like them to be adopted together.
Both girls are a little overweight but both enjoy going for a walk. They are very good to walk together, and don’t pull on the lead. Both dogs enjoy throwing the ball in the backyard but get exhausted very quickly.
They spend most of the day lazying around and relaxing in the backyard.
Both girls understand basic commands.
Their new family would ideally have no other dogs. These two beautiful girls just want to find their forever loving home.
For more information or to meet Sheikha & Tahlia please phone foster carer Katrina on 0401154467. Sheikha & Tahlia are in foster care in Maitland, NSW and available for adoption interstate.
Sheikha & Tahlia's $400 adoption fee which is for both dogs includes their desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
