About Leroy (On Trial 30/7/13)
My name is Leroy and I am a male cattle dog cross. I am 18 months old and live with my foster brothers and sisters. I love them all and love to play all day. I love to go on my daily bush walk with my carers and I'm also keen for loads of cuddles especially if you let me share your bed.
Some time ago I did have an injury to my front leg which slowed me down for a while but I'm now so much stronger that it's almost a thing of the past. However I do still have a small limp but don't let this turn you away as its no bother for me. I'm very good at sitting and coming when I'm asked and am very good both on and off the lead for my walks. I'm not a barker or a jumper. I get along with all dogs including the little puppies and I just love children.
For more information or to meet Leroy please phone foster carer Chloe on 0421 669 884. Leroy is in foster care in Cameron Park, NSW 2285 (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Leroy's $400 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
