About Jacki (On Trial 10/3/13)
Jacki is a very loving and sweet natured, 11 yo, female, Border Collie x Kelpie. \ She has a real zest for life and sparkle in her eyes. She would make a great companion for anyone looking for a undemanding friend. And you gotta love those eyebrows! Jacki loves to laze about outside, and when we are out in the yard, she likes to follow us around. Jacki is not a barker, only when she has to. On the lead she starts off excited but calms down after a few minutes.
She is currently sharing our yard with a 13 year old male Border Collie and an 8 year old female Jack Russell Terrier. She has not yet been tested with cats. Jacki appears to be fine with children. She does not jump on our toddler at all. She's a very happy go lucky kind of girl! Jacki would make a great companion for any family, or for anyone looking for undemanding friend.
For more information or to meet Jacki please phone foster carer Nay on 0407-324-214 or (02) 4990 4518 or email nayz1984@hotmail.com . Jacki is in foster care in Cessnock, NSW (west of Newcastle).
We are only asking for a $200 donation for Jacki because we want her to find a loving home. Jacki is desexed, vaccinated, had flea and worm treatments, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
