About Lexi
Lexi’s mum was found in the back shed after just having kittens just before Christmas in 2010 in Grafton. Apparently she belonged to a daughter of neighbour of the person owning the shed and had been abandoned when she moved out of home. HappyPaws Haven was called to help as the lady who owned the shed was worried that something might happen to the cat and the kittens. Roslyn a foster carer came to the aid of the new little family, agreeing to get them and take them home to safety. They stayed with her until they were immunised and de-sexed ready to go to their new homes. All but one of the kittens survived and all these beautiful young cats have found forever homes of their own except Lexi aka Kokamo!
Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, \ fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
