About Roman (On Hold pending adoption 9/1)
Roman is an adorable 8 week old German Shepherd x puppy looking for his forever home.
Roman is your typical puppy. He loves to play with other dogs and toys and has lots of energy. He also loves a good sleepy snuggle when all the playing is done.
Roman is good with other dogs and due to his age would easily adapt to most household pets. Roman is very smart and would excel with further training.
Roman will grow to be a medium to large dog. He is the perfect age for puppy preschool which we strongly recommend.
Dog Rescue Newcastle www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Our $450 adoption fee covers the dog's de-sexing, 1st and 2nd vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and micro-chipping.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
