About Sasha (On Trial 30/12/12)
My name is Sasha, and even though I am a shepherd/kelpie cross, I am a tiny little girl- even small for a kelpie. I am only young girl too, about 2 years old, but have already worked out that I LOVE EVERYONE and I am excited about meeting my new forever family. My daddy had to go into a nursing home and sadly, I couldn’t go with him. I have spent all my life loving my people and now I feel a little lost without someone of my own to adore.
I am very affectionate and love nothing more than sitting with you for kisses and cuddles. Sometimes I get a bit jealous of my foster sisters when they try to take my foster mummy’s attention from me. I have a little grumble but they just ignore me. I love running around and playing with my big clumsy foster sister Honey. She is so much bigger than me but I’m not scared. I’m so fast she would never catch me anyway. I can just run and run and run…but I know my name and come back when called. I’d probably prefer to be an only dog but I am learning to share the love.
I am a very fit and healthy dog but am just as happy having a snooze as running and playing. I like toys and am learning that this doesn’t include shoes. I will chase a ball but returning it isn’t my greatest strength. My foster mummy thinks that I am so smart that I could learn anything. I listen to instructions and pick things up very quickly. There have been no toilet accidents in the house and I haven’t shown the slightest interest in escaping. I don’t really bark but will have a chat with you in my own special way. It’s very cute. My foster mummy has budgies and I am quite interested in them. I just sit and watch but might like to chase them if I have the chance.
I have enormous amber eyes that seem too big for my delicate little face. They’re just like my heart- HUGE. My foster mummy thinks I am gorgeous! If you want a low maintenance little bundle of love to share your life with, then I’m your girl.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
