About Bob
Bob is cute. Bob is beaut. Bob is a red kelpie, Crossed with cattle dog and border collie.
Don't be fooled by this mix of working breeds though. Bob is a laid back, relaxed kind of guy who is happiest chilling out with his people. He is low to medium energy and while he enjoys a walk, or a game with a ball or a toy, he's also happy to finish up and chill out. While not excessively overweight, Bob's waistline could see him described as 'cuddly', so a few more walks and games and a sensible diet would make a world of difference to Bob.
Bob loves to please and fits in easily. He sits, shakes hands and walks well on a lead. He has impressed everyone he has met so far with his calm demeanour and good manners.
And Bob sure does love his pats and cuddles!!!
At his foster carers house, Bob has gotten along well with three female dogs and one male dog (also a foster dog). He is good with
the cats that live at his foster home. Bob has been very friendly and good natured towards children (see his video).
He loves the car and would never turn down a car ride - he's also pretty partial to a swim.
All in all, Bob is a great boy who has charmed everyone he's met so far. He would best suit a person or family looking for a laid back life long friend to add to their home.
Two different vets have both judged Bob to be approximately five years old, and in excellent physical health, so while he's definitely out of the puppy stage, he's got many years
of love and living to offer.
It is proving to be very hard to meet Bob in the flesh and not fall in love!
Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing maggiesrescueadoptions@gmail.com or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
