Sammie

Sammie was surrendered by his elderly owners who could no longer look after him as they are moving into a nursing home so Sammie is now looking for a new home to call his own. Sammie has a big personality and is everyone's best friend, both people and other dogs alike. Sammie is a large Pug with a large appetite so his new family will need to watch his weight and exercise him everyday as Pugs do have a tendency to pack on the pounds! Sammie is very playful, loves his toys and rumbling with his doggy friends therefore another dog for company in his new home is a must. Sammie is learning some new manners like how to walk properly on a lead, something that is a new experience for him! Sammie's ideal home will be with a family who are willing to continue teaching him the ropes. Sammie the Pug has only one eye but it does not stop him from getting around and having a great time like just like any other dog. Pugs like Sammie have a high shedding coat that will require regular brushing and also daily cleaning of his facial folds. Sammie is a house dog and must have access to indoors at all times.
