About Jess
SWEET JESS ...Seeking her forever family of her own
Jess is an affectionate girl, good on command. She loves being outdoors and is best suited to an active home where she can enjoy plenty of walks and getting out and about for a run. Jess is currently in foster care with a family and doing well, the kids love her and she walks well on the lead and getting used to the louder traffic noises.
Poor Jess has not been treated very well in her past life and was at times confined to a cage. Jess can therefore understandably become a little anxious is smaller confined spaces. Jess will need to be an indoor/outdoor dog in a new home with an owner that can help continue to build her confidence. Jess is not a demanding dog in nature, despite her previous treatment she is a very sweet young girl. Jess and she gets along well with the other dogs of all sizes here at the Rescue Shelter
Again as with some of the other Pets in Limbo dogs Jess was also in the local council shelter and would have been PTS. So she came to the safety of the Rescue Shelter where they will help her find a family of her own.
Adoption details
Please email or phone to make the enquiry about the dog you are interested in adopting and we can answer any further questions you may have. We will then send you an adoption application form to complete and return via email along with ID and photo's of your garden/yard and fencing/gates.
If the adoption application is approved a home check & meet and greet with the dog you are interested in adopting will be arranged. If you have other dogs in the family we like them to come along and also meet with the dog.
If all goes ahead and you adopt the dog there is a 4 week trial period to make sure they settle in their new home ok. If it works out well the adoption papers are then finalised and all dogs from our adoption program must be registered with your local council and the microchip details changed into your name and contact details.
