Adoption information
I've been adopted!
About Jet ... gorgeous child friendly, scared of cats...
Learning sit, stay, and that 'good girl' means she did the right thing. Lots of energy, but extremely gentle relative to her young exuberance.
Doesn't jump up often, even when greeting you, and when she does she doesn't lean hard.
Once you have settled down for the night (or for a nap!) she doesn't bother you too much and usually settles well herself. (but starts getting bored and restless after 5am - will wake you if she needs to go outside!) Very well house trained.
Loves her food!
As to her nature? Loyal, gentle, best friend type of dog. Quiet (have not heard her bark once yet)! Content to snuggle/nuzzle. Likes to lick her affection! A bit of a crotch sniffer but is responding to 'no'! Muscular and powerful - I think she'd like to run with the wind… Pity she's been hurt to this point of being scared and having no confidence. She is truly an amazing dog and I hope she is given every opportunity.
Clearly the foster carer thinks she is gorgeous. She is fairly timid at the moment, but is learning to trust again. She is a bit fearful of unknown noises and people, but has just arrived from a country town so life is very different in the big smoke.
She has the most gorgeous jet black fur, absolutely loves children and people, and is quite terrified of the cat!!
With training, she will blossom in to a wonderful and staunchly loyal companion. Jet is about 15 kilos and just under knee height. We are not really sure of her breed, but lab x, and possibly belgian shepherd or something else with long luxurious fur...
She is currently being fostered in Montmorency area.
