About Polly (On Trial 19/1/13)
Polly is a 13 yr old, female, border collie x cattle dog. She is an affectionate lady. She loves human company and gets along with dogs her size or larger. She would also be well suited to be an only dog.
Polly's elderly owner had to move and couldn't take Polly with her. Polly is a lovely girl and deserves a family to love her in her senior years. She'd make a wonderful companion for a lonely person.
For more information or to meet Polly please phone foster carer Kristy on 0411 335 449. Polly is in foster care in Kurri Kurri, NSW (west of Newcastle).
Polly's $200 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration.
Dog Rescue Newcastle www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Your support allows us to continue saving other homeless dogs like Polly.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
