About Mini Max (On Trial 1/1/13)
Meet Mini Max, he is a 3yr old Maltese cross. He is a very small boy, he is tiny for his breed, he looks like he is still a puppy! He is white with cream ears and paws. Max is a delightful little man to foster, he is no trouble at all!
He's not a barker, he hardly jumps up at you, he welcomes you with kisses to the foot/leg and enjoys human company.
Max LOVES water, we found that out while watering the garden, he loves to chase the hose and drink it while its running. We haven't tried him at the beach/lake, however I'm guessing he would love it!
Max is currently with our toy poodle male, and they get along fine. Max is a quiet dog who is a pleasure to keep around. He is gorgeous!
The only naughty thing I have caught him doing is digging holes, because of his size they aren't big holes and with some training it should be an easy thing to stop him doing.
Max has a low shedding coat which needs regular brushing (every few days depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every 4 to 8 weeks) to keep him comfortable and beautiful.
Max is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside when the family are home and to sleep inside.
He would be suited to a stay at home person/couple, or a family with older children as smaller children tend to scare him a bit. He wouldn't be suited to being left behind for long periods of time, he's such a beautiful and giving dog that he craves human contact.
He may be suitable to living with another small dog, depending on match of temperaments.
Max is in foster care in Cameron Park NSW. For more information or to meet Max, please phone his foster carer Jacqui 0405 000 832

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
