About Billy
BIG SOFTY, BILLY BOY .... Billy is looking for his forever home or temp foster carer
When you look at Billy's picture you wouldn't believe Billy is only between 4 to 5 years old, he looks more 10 to 12 years. Billy has had a hard unloved life in is previous home.
The only love Billy has know in his life so far is here at the Shelter. Prior to coming to the shelter Billy lived his life outside constantly chained, with very little shelter from the beating sun or rain. This has all taken a toll on poor Billy and aged him in looks beyond his years. Despite his treatment before coming to the shelter where he had no real affection or care shown to him Billy is just a really big softy full of love for anyone that will give him even just a bit of time.
Billy's a pretty relaxed boy, a lover not a fighter he gets on with both male and female dogs here. Billy has been at the shelter for over a year : ( he really needs a very special home and people of his own to love and send time with him. We will not let him go to a home where he would again be an outdoor dog only. He needs to be an indoor/outdoor dog where he will feel safe and secure.
Billy is located in Coominya
Medical notes
Vetwork will be completed prior to leaving for his forever home
Adoption details
Please email or phone to make the enquiry about the dog you are interested in adopting and we can answer any further questions you may have. We will then send you an adoption application form to complete and return via email along with ID and photo's of your garden/yard and fencing/gates.
If the adoption application is approved a home check & meet and greet with the dog you are interested in adopting will be arranged. If you have other dogs in the family we like them to come along and also meet with the dog.
If all goes ahead and you adopt the dog there is a 4 week trial period to make sure they settle in their new home ok. If it works out well the adoption papers are then finalised and all dogs from our adoption program must be registered with your local council and the microchip details changed into your name and contact details.
