About Honey (On Trial 20/12/12)
Honey is a 2 to 3yo, female, Jack Russell Terrier. She is the most affectionate, loving dog I have ever known. She loves her cuddles and will cuddle you back. \ She is house trained. She loves to be with you and loves being patted. She loves sitting on the lounge with you so she won't miss out on any affection you give her. She has a favourite soft toy that she loves to play with and snuggle up to.
Honey is a little shy due to her past experiences but is becoming more relaxed every day. She is a small eater, she likes her biscuits and some chicken. She is an inside dog. She loves her walks and is getting very good on her lead. She sometimes get car sick but the vet told me she may grow out of it, if not there is medication she can take. Transporting her in a crate helps. She is fine with my other two dogs and other small dogs she has met.
Whoever adopts Honey will have a very loving and faithful new family member. I will be parting with Honey with a very heavy heart, but know she needs a home to call her own. She is a real sweetheart.
For more information or to meet Honey please phone foster carer Geraldine on 02-4023-8122 or 0402-008-150 or email jez50@me.com . Honey is in foster care in Glendale, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Honey's $400 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. Dog Rescue Newcastle www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Your support allows us to continue saving other homeless dogs like Honey.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
