About Bruno (2) (On Trial 24/12/12)
Bruno is an 18 month old, purebred, Yellow Labrador. He enjoys running around the backyard and playing with his foster sister. Ideally Bruno would love another dog in his new family to keep him company. He comes to his name and understands other basic commands. He is still young and would enjoy the challenge of further training, you could even take him to dog training classes.
Bruno looks to be a little underweight at the moment so he would require a new family who will provide some loving care. He is very active someone that is committed to walking him every day. He loves going for a walk and although he initially pulls because he is excited, he does settle down soon after.
Bruno is a beautiful boy and is very playful and loyal. He would love to go with the whole family to the beach or park, and then later join in with the gang relaxing in front of the telly.
Bruno would be a wonderful addition of any family and bring lots of love and joy to his forever home. I look forward to seeing him go to a loving, forever home where he will be treated gently and invited to be a member of the family.
For more information or to meet him please phone Caroline 02 4988 6401. Bruno is in foster care in Maitland NSW(20 minutes northwest of Newcastle).
Bruno's $450 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. Dog Rescue Newcastle www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Your support allows us to continue saving other dogs like Bruno.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
