About Chance (On Trial in a new home 23/12/12)
Chance, 10 weeks old, male, Labrador x Rotti - (A chance you will take, but will never regret). Once upon a time in a foster home on the Central Coast lived a 10 week old puppy named Chance. There is no ending to this fairytale yet as Chance's story is just beginning. At just 4 weeks of age Chance was surrendered to the pound along with his other 3 brothers but it didn't take long for his fairy foster mum to sweep in and take all of them home to give lots of love and to get him ready for his new fur-ever home.
Chance is just 10 weeks old and already weighs nearly 8 kilos. When he grows up, he will be a strong, big dog so he will need a really active family that likes to go for walks or even better a jog! Chance has already begun learning basic obedience but at 10 weeks of age he hasn't quite perfected them so puppy school training is recommended.
Chance has 3 other brothers, Bear, Bentley and Scout, and is currently live with a group of dogs of all breeds and sizes so has been really well socialised. \ He has met the cat so a family with a cat or another dog would be great. Chance is very playful and his tail never stops wagging and is really looking forward to a happy ending to his story.
For more information or to meet Chance please phone foster carer Shiree on 02 4392 1834 or email shiree78@hotmail.com . Chance is in foster care in Kanwal on the Central Coast, NSW 2259. His $450 adoption fee covers his desexing, 1st and 2nd vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping.
Medical notes
Healthy, happy puppy
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
