About Hot Toddy
This adorable little fella was surrendered to the Pound at the age of 13 weeks! At least his owners realised how much work pups can be and did the right thing by surrendering him now rather than let him grow up into an unsocialised, untrained adult dog like so many that come through the Pound system and which then have to be rehabilitated. Since arriving at Paws Lodge, Hot Toddy has learned how to do the ‘play bow’ with the older doggies and, as he’s grown over the past few weeks, has become stronger and can join in the proper games with his canine friends. Hot Toddy is always up for a human cuddle, especially when he knows his breakfast or dinner is about to appear! To get your attention, his endearing ‘party trick’ is to squat on his back legs and sit up with his front paws cupped together, ear ups and with a big smile !! Hot Toddy may be a JAF (Just another Foxie!) but he’s also a real character of a pup. He’s been desexed and just had his final vaccination, so is ready to go to his forever home. Hot Toddy is ideally suited to a family who have a secure. medium sized yard and also another small dog for this little fella to chill out and play with when mum and dad are at work and the kids are at school. They also need to have the time to take Hot Toddy to obedience school etc. when he’s old enough. His coat is low maintenance and just needs a good brush through once a week.
