About Sasha (On Trial 21/12/12)
Sasha is an 8 month old, Chihuahua x Mini Foxie and a delightful little girl. \ She dances on her back legs, and spins around with delight when you come home. She will be your shadow, and loves following you around, and curling up with you where ever you are. Her two big brown eyes will melt your heart.
Sasha is a very expressive little girl, and you can almost tell what she is thinking. She does not suffer from any separation anxiety, and is calm when you leave her. Sasha is not a fussy eater, and walks well on the lead. She is fantastic with children, but initially she may show some fear of them but soon makes friends with everyone.
She is friendly with other small and medium sized dogs and loves playing with them.
Sasha is primarily an inside dog, but does enjoy being outside with you. She likes snuggling up with her teddy bear and playing with soft toys. She will chase a small ball when rolled across the ground.
Sasha easy to take everywhere. I often find myself carrying her around and not even realising she is there. She thoroughly enjoys this.
She has a short coat, which sheds very little and is easy to maintain. She just needs a bath now and again.
If Sasha sounds like the perfect dog for you or your family please don't hesitate to foster carer Cassie on 02-4966-1669 or 0428 595 916 or email c3027218@uon.edu.au . Sasha is in foster care in Woodberry, NSW (near Newcastle).
Sasha's $400 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. Dog Rescue Newcastle www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Your support allows us to continue saving other homeless dogs like Sasha.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
