Molly (F)

Molly (was holly) is our neglected pet of the week. She came in to sydney dogs & cats home in an appalling state, having suffered from an allergic skin condition for many years. This is evident with the darkness and thickening of skin layers. Holly's paws are also affected by this skin condition which makes every step a painful one for her. She is very sad and clings to anyone who wants to give her a big cuddle. Fortunately, holly was found by a kind gentleman who took her to livingstone rd vets whose staff cut her long, spiralling claws and clipped her matted body before sending her to sydney dogs & cats home. We are grateful for their kindness. Molly will need on-going treatment for several months until her skin improves. We have seen dogs in similar conditions many times before who recover very well, once they are given the right medication. Pound number 33 listed 13th november 2007
