About Minnie
Minnie is a gorgeous, bright tortoiseshell girl of 3 years.
*** UPDATE FROM MINNIE'S LOVELY FOSTER CARER**** 01.01.2013
Minnie (who is now being called Maysa, due to responding well to it) is now a single pet and its pretty much been established that it needs to stay that way. Best without young children who will scare her either.
She does not like noise.
Once she is comfortable in her surroundings, she is very social and chatty and doesn't hide away. She even walks well on a harness and leash!!
She is very curious about people and will watch from the window and is very social with her carer.
She likes to knead things alot. She also likes to get pats and ..umm...drink from the toilet! Oops.
Her carer is positively encouraging her to drink from her water bowl and suggests that in the interim, that any new owner need to use non toxic cleaners in their toilet, like bicarbonate of soda and vinegar.
I think she may drink from the toilet, due to where she used to live, where the other cats picked on her, its quite possible they would have guarded the food and not let her near it, so in needing water, she has found the toilet. Her carer and I are both positive that the habit will change.
She is not coping in the rescue group as she doesn't like other cats. She hides. This is because of where she used to live, she got beaten up by another cat. That's not to say her timid nature won't change, I have no doubt she will go back to feeling herself again once she is in a stable home.
Minnie would suit a quiet household with no other pets, or pets of a similar personality.
Minnie is a gorgeous nature cat though, she hasn't got a nasty bone in her body, doesn't scratch or carry on skittishly. She is quite calm despite being timid.
First person to meet her will fall in love with her. Minnie loves pats and cuddles and is an inside cat, fully litter trained.
Minnie is desexed, fully vaccinated, wormed, flea treated, vet checked, microchipped and looking for a home fast away from the other cats here.
Please consider meeting Minnie today !
