About Izzy
"Izzy is an amazing dog", the words of Annette from Walktime on the Gold Coast, who takes Izzy to play in a group of four dogs each Wednesday. This is something her foster carer already knew.
At one and a bit years old, she has the most beautiful nature and in 3 months, has shown not one sign of aggression with people, her food & bones or other dogs, even when she is growled at by another dog, she doesn't react.
Her constant one ear up, one ear down, makes her a comical little character. She is not a barker, but will protect your property.
Izzy is intelligent and likes to learn for treats, she knows sit, lie down and shakes hands. It would be great to see her in a loving forever home, with a family who want to teach her more. Although this energetic, active young Miss has adjusted remarkably well to life in a beach-side apartment and enjoys regular runs on the beach, her carer thinks a yard and a playmate would be ideal.
She loves children, but may be better with older ones, as she might knock the little ones over in play.
Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing maggiesrescueadoptions@gmail.com or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
