On Hold
About Baz On Hold
Baz has two brothers, shorty and elvis. These boys are very handsome, cuddly, affectionate pups and they are half-brothers of the previous litter of kelpies we recently had in care (bonnie, blondie, blinky, bundy and barley), as they share the same father. Baz's mum was an expensive stud bitch who is a good worker so these boys will be very loyal, intelligent and active - requiring homes that can provide plenty of mental stimulation and exercise. Baz has a soft nature but will still get in there and rumble with the rest of the fosters. All these boys have lovely even temperaments and they've been a pleasure to foster. They definitely have an "off-switch" which is a great asset for a kelpie. Being of keen mind, they quickly become attune to the household and will try to let you know if there are strangers lurking on your property. Baz has the typical needs of any puppy like nutritious food, shelter from the elements and a well-fenced secure yard. While he is still a baby, baz can't be left alone in the yard to fend for himself and should be allowed indoors to interact and spend quality time with his family. He will make a a great house pet rather than left alone outdoors as he loves to laze and watch tv after all his running around and swimming, etc. Baz is social with adults, kids and the resident cat (who likes to use pups as a comfy pillow!). He has a beautiful tri-colour coat that will be short and low-maintenance. Baz will thrive with training and would be best in a home that has an active lifestyle, one that likes to include their furkid as an integral member of the family. Alternatively, he should make a good little agility/obedience/dogsports champion of the future! baz has been unwell but, after a week long course of treatment and tender loving care, he's now a happy, healthy little boy who is looking for his forever home. Even while unwell, he still had the interest to round up any ants he spotted and then eat them. . . Mmmm. . . Protein! baz is a wonderful boy and he'll make a loyal, loving addition to your life
