About Roxy
Roxy is a fun loving and affectionate young miss with a real regal air about her. She is absolutely stunning in real life no matter how good the picture it just does not do justice to this sweet young girl's beauty.
When Roxy first came into care she was quite timid however it did not take long for her loving personality to begin to shine through once she felt comfortable and she continues to thrive in her foster home. Roxy is proving to also be a very loyal and companion.
Roxy has a beautiful loving personality to match her looks she loves nothing better than resting her head on your leg or giving you a hug and is happy to share your affection with other doggies
She is quite petite for a kelpie x weighing in at around 14.5 kgs and would be best suited to a home with another young active dog that loves games and due to this Roxy will only be rehomed to a home that has another younger doggy companion with whom she can play all those silly doggy games. The third picture shows Roxy in the car with her foster foxy x brother and sister which will give you an idea of her size. So if you love your kelpie breed and are looking for a pocket sized kelpie Roxy could be your lady.
Roxy must have access inside and out at all times and she just loves to curl up in her bed of a night time and watch the tv or curl up on the lounge beside you for cuddle time.
Roxy is currently sharing her foster home with 2 new small breed foster puppies and she has proven to be a wonderful Aunty to them even though she loves a bit of rough and tumble with her carers other 2 dogs she is very gentle with the pups.
Roxy is now enjoying her off leash adventures to Cronulla Beach and Sydney park where she gets on well with dogs of all sizes and has excellent recall she is super quick when you whistle for her.
As Roxy is still only young she would benefit from some gentle training and we believe she would make an excellent training partner as she is motivated by food, extremely eager to please and super smart. Roxy will only be rehomed to a home that is prepared to continue some training so that her real superstar can shine through.
She is a good no make that an excellent car traveller whether sitting quietly on the backseat or in the back section of a 4WD.
Her foster carer has some more pics of this sweet young miss so if you are interested please make contact.
To top it off she is also housetrained and has learned to use the doggy door agh kelpie smarts:)
Roxy is also ok with cats and kids although kids over the age of 10 would be best as she does a get a bit over excited when there is lots of running but is easily corrected.
