About Toby (adopted Jan or Feb 2013)
Toby is a 3 yo border collie who is fun to have around. He is always well behaved, walks great on the lead and off lead. He is good with other dogs and animals, loves the water, and going for drives in the car. Toby also loves children and has good basic training.
You can't go wrong with a border collie. All Toby asks is a daily walk and attention he will be your beautiful, faithful, loving companion and will fit into most loving homes.
Dog Rescue Newcastle www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Our $400 adoption fee covers the dog's de-sexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, micro-chipping, and lifetime registration. Your support allows us to continue saving homeless dogs.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
