Sirrocco

Sirocco is a great dog to have around. He is fun, happy, confident, inquisitive and eager to experience new things. He attracts great comments from people wherever we take him. People comment on his looks and his lovely nature.

He loves going to the dog park and meeting other dogs. He plays games with dogs of all sizes and is great company for our dachshund at home.

He is shy with new people, but once you gain his trust he is fiercely loyal and loving.

Good with children, Sirocco puts up with youngsters’ excessive attention with patience. He likes playing chasing games with kids.

He sits on command, waits for permission to eat and comes to his name when called. He does not wander too far in the park if he is let off the lead. He stays close when walked off leash. He walks well on the lead. He is completely house trained. He doesn’t bark too much. He has responded well to training.

Sirocco is absolutely fine with cats. He has also been exposed to other animals and is fine around chickens and donkeys.

He is very affectionate snuggling up to our other dog and loves being called to jump up on your lap and have a cuddle on the coach or bed. He doesn’t like being picked up until he know you well and even they being a keen walker he would rather travel on his own two feet.

Sirocco enjoys sitting in cafes and when he is in park he likes to walk through puddles but once he gets home he cleans his own paws if they are muddy.

He is not a fussy eater and responds well to treats.

Sirocco needs his owners to do the following:

• Sirocco is an inside dog. He is house trained and will use a dog door to go outside and relieve himself.

• Despite his small size, Sirocco loves a walk, too sniff to socialise to run to play. We give him two a day. He wants this or at least– one very long one where he can meet and play with other dogs

• Sirocco adores other dogs and if he is left alone during the day, he wants another dog(or cat) as company. He gets along with every dog he meets.

•To include him in their life .Sirocco wants to hang with his people go on outings, drives in car, trips to shops and parks

•Understand he is still an exuberant puppy and needs training, guidance and security.

• In exchange, you get a very loving, loyal dog who will give you excellent attention and utter devotion.
