About Chance (On Trial 8/12/12)
Chance is a sweet, male, 8 week old Kelpie x Border Collie looking for a forever home. He is an energetic and lively little boy who enjoys chasing and playing with his brother, Beau, and his foster siblings (2yr old lab and 2yr old Kelpie). He loves playing with toys and chasing a ball around.
Chance loves snuggles and will climb onto your lap for a cuddle if given the opportunity. Chance is learning to sit and has begun to be toilet trained. He will need to attend puppy preschool and would excel with further training due to his breed.
Chance is very intelligent and already you can see his willingness to learn and please you.
Chance would best suit an active family with another dog for company. He is good with kids and dogs and due to his age, would be good with most other pets.
For more information about Chance or to meet him please call his foster carer Alissa on 04 2203 5850.
www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Our $450.00 adoption fee covers the dog's de-sexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, micro-chipping, and lifetime registration. Your support allows us to continue saving homeless dogs.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
