About Koda
Koda is a sweet, gentle dog with a lot of love to give! He is so affectionate, he will melt into you, when you pat him, and will rub his head into your hand like a cat.
Koda is chilled out and mature for a one year old. He is still playful and energetic but shows a lot of restraint, so he is not over the top, which makes him pefect for a family pet as he is ,great with kids.
As you can see, he is a beautiful looking boy, being a classic black & white husky with ice blue eyes, he really is a stunner!
Koda is good with other dogs but not so with small animals and SWF (small white fluffies). Koda would love a home with dog company but not so much with cats or small dogs.
Koda knows all the basic obedience, sit, stay and will wait for his food. He is responsive on the lead but could do with further training, which he enjoys, as he is a real pleaser.
koda doesn't seem to be a barker but loves to show his excitement by having a chat with you, which is very cute. He also loves looking at himself in the mirror, which doesn't surprise me considering his gorgeous blue eyes!
Koda has a beautiful temperament too, so if you are looking for an active playmate for your current dog and a new family member for the children to enjoy, Koda will suit you perfectly.

Koda has been desexed, vaccinated and micro chipped. he is uptodate with flea and worm control.
Adoption details
Once the animal is advertised candidates for adoption are requested to fill in a form.
The adoption questionnaire form asks where the animal will sleep, details of people and other animals in the home, training and exercise plans etc. We use this form as part of our screening process.
If we like what we read and the animal’s individual needs are met we then conduct an informal phone interview.
Then the potential adopter meets the animal at the carers home or the carer may choose to take the animal to the adopter’s home to do a house and yard inspection.
If the adopter meets the animal at the carer’s home a house/yard inspection is done after the meet.
When the yard inspection is done we are able to further evaluate the suitability of the candidate to adopt.
If we are satisfied that the animals needs will be met by the adopter and that they are a good match for one another then a trial period may begin.
We have legally binding pre-adoption forms which allow us to remove the animal from the home if all other solutions to issues have failed.
We have a good support base which adopters can utilise if needed, such as a professional trainer, a behaviourist, vets and a groomer.
Homeless Hounds offers support to our adopters for the life of the animal. It is policy that each adopter is aware that if the ever need help or to rehome the animal then HH wants to facilitate that.
Our procedures are based on advice from "model" and well established rescue groups and trial and error.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
