Wow - what a sweetheart summer has turned into. From
The terrified little dog who first arrived at her carer's house
To the sunny-natured and affectionate girl we now know -
Its been a joy to watch her blossom. Summer has learnt that the human race is a wonderful
Thing, full of kind words and gentle loving pats and we
Would like to see her go to a home where she will be given
The opportunity to continue to bloom. She has had no
Formal training at this stage but is a clean and clever dog
Who has learnt very quickly how things work in her foster
Home. She has met new people and has expanded her list
Of people who get her instant attention. Summer has also
Shown us that she loves children and she will make a great
Family dog for gentle, understanding children. Summer is a very loyal dog and on lead walks next to her
Trusted people beautifully, she is still a little frightened by
Cars when going for a walk but is gaining confidence in
Her people's ability to keep her safe and we expect that
Confidence to continue. Summer is one of the very special
Dogs that come into rescue, the sort who makes you
Remember why you do it - only hours from euthanasia
Pound staff begged us to give her a chance as they could
