About Ollie
Ollie is a very sweet and affectionate boy but clearly his previous owners put him out in the backyard and then never looked at him again! Ollie is not used to being an indoor dog but is slowly getting used to coming inside in his foster home. He sleeps inside all night long and comes in and out of the house during the day so clearly wants to be with his humans but is a little unsure of the whole 'indoor dog' concept when his foster carers are up and about. Ollie's carers think that he probably wonders why they live inside! Ollie will need a nice back garden to sniff and snooze in and a family who will encourage him to come in the house where he will always fall asleep at their feet. Ollie is a medium sized dog around the size of a small Kelpie and has almost as much energy so will need to be walked every day and a game of fetch is his favourite. Ollie is very smart and learns quickly so is already very confident with the 'sit' command. Ollie would not necessarily need a canine companion in his home and, although fine with other dogs, would prefer to be the 'one and only' we think. Ollie will suit an active family willing to give him time and training and to show him what a real loving home is like.
