About Buddy
Buddy is a purebred German Shepherd and is just over two years old. He's quite good with other dogs and loves to play and go for his daily walks.
He is a very energetic and loving boy that just loves being with you. He would suit an adult family or one with older children. He is very loyal and will be a great life-long companion to the right owner.
Buddy is such a good looking young man (and he know it!!). He has a beautiful personality and has been treated well in his previous years but for family reasons needed to be rehomed.
He grew up with dogs and has never shown any signs of aggression, he is very playful and strong so may be suited to dogs that can handle his strength.
Buddy has never encountered a cat close up, but when he see's them he is more curious than anything.
A new home that has experience with this breed or large dogs would be fantastic!
Buddy comes desexed, microchiped and vaccinated.
Medical notes
Buddy had to have a hip displacia operation when he was around 13 months old on his right hip. Since then there haven't been any issues with either of his hips, but the x-rays at the time indicated that there may be a need for the same operation on his left hip later on down the track.
He has insurance with the RSPCA which can't be transferred onto his new owner. However a new policy can be taken up with them. His current policy is $50 per month, and allows for an 80% refund of the cost of any future hip operations. RSPCA can be contacted on 1300 881 492 to inquire on their policies.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
