About Patch (adopted December 2012 by carer)
*** Patch is not available for adoption until early January, while he gets some bladder stones cleared up. ***
Hi my name is Patch and I am a 4 year old male English Staffy. I’m a very happy boy who LOVES my tummy rubs, getting plenty of exercise and simply been in the company of my humans.
I have a soccer ball which is one of my favourite things to play with and enjoy going for walks, I walk quite well on a lead.
I don’t bark and am dog and cat friendly. I have a cat as a foster sibling who I just love. I don’t have any doggy siblings however whenever I see one I want to meet them and play so would love it if my new home had a doggy friend for me to play with.
I like spending time inside to be closer to my humans and I am housetrained. I’m very clever as I also know how to sit, stop, wait, down, up and also how to bring the ball back. I like to sleep on a cool floor in the kitchen or bathroom.
If you can provide me with the very best home and unconditional love than we shall be the best of friends.
For more information or to meet Patch please phone foster carer Susan on 02 4925 2030 or 0405 235 317 or email sue66b@hotmail.com . Patch is in foster care in Newcastle NSW.
Patch's $400 adoption fee covers his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. Your support allows us to continue saving other homeless dogs like Patch. www.DogRescueNewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
