About Jet ~ youthful senior, only $200 ~On Trial 2/2/13
Jet is a gorgeous 8 year old, male, black Labrador x. He is young at heart and loves relaxing at home with the family, going for walks, and snoozing in the shade on hot summer days. He loves nothing more than a pat on the head or a scratch on the belly.
Jet gets on well with our other family pets. He can be a little shy so is easily bossed around by other dogs. He would get along well with other older placid dogs. He loves kids of all ages and is terrific with my toddler. Jet loves to give out lots of kisses. Like all Labradors Jet loves water and splashing in his water bowl.
Jet knows his basic commands such as sit, down, and no. He is very easy going and would suit any type of home, he loves to have someone with him all day but is also fine to hang around the house if you have to work. Jet is a beautiful boy with a big heart with lots of love to give.
Jet was a private surrender. His family regretfully had to let him go when their circumstances changed. He would go best in a good sized yard and needs regular exercise. Jet is a gentle boy who will make your family complete with his happy smiley face.
For more information or to meet Jet please phone foster carer Payge on 0435 923 732. Jet is in foster care in Empire Bay, NSW 2257, Central Coast.
Jet's $200 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. Dog Rescue Newcastle www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Your support allows us to continue saving other homeless dogs like Jet.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
