About Jessie (On Trial 3/2/13)
Our beautiful Jessie is a two year old Bull Arab x Cuddly Teddy Bear who has a heart of pure gold. We have got so much love and warmth from her it has really opened our eyes to her wonderful breed.

Jessie has been super friendly with everyone she has met, this includes other dogs.We have found she has loads of patience; my 11 year old boy was pretending she was a horse and all Jessie did was wag her tail and enjoy the moment.
Our other foster dog is a 4 month year old whippet cross and enjoys giving Jessie a hard time most of the day. Jess is great with him, she never loses her patience, she just gives a little growl then quietly goes about her business. We never planned to let Jess into the house as I considered her type as an outdoor dog; it didn’t take long for us to let her in, we found out that she fantastic inside as she is gentle and placid and just enjoys the company. Jessie loves having a talk with us, it’s like she is telling us a happy story. Other than that she is pretty quiet, not even barking when someone comes to the door, which always amazes everyone. Jessie needs to be walked using a harness as she can easily slip a collar.
Jessie would suit anyone wanting a large family dog or someone that can spend a reasonable amount of time with her. A large backyard isn’t necessary, along as she goes for regular walks to keep her fit and happy she’ll be fine. My family are really pleased we have got to know this wonderful gentle lady; she has added a lot of happiness while we have had her.
Jessie is in foster care in Belmont, NSW (Lake Macquarie). For more information or to meet Jessie, please phone her foster carer Helen on 0481 109 880 or email helaniemelanie@hotmail.co.uk
Jessie's $400 adoption fee covers her de-sexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, micro-chipping, and lifetime registration.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
