About Scout (On Trial 24/12/12)
Scout is an adorable 4 months old Whippet x Kelpie. A few of his favourite things in life are cuddles, playing cricket (he is a great fielder) and jumping on the trampoline with the kids.

He walks very well on a lead and is trusted to walk around a park without running off; he likes to stay close. He is amazing with other dogs and wants to play often, as most puppies do. All the children in the street think he is perfect; Scout loves everyone.
Around the house and yard Scout is fantastic.
The only holes dug in the yard are little ones to discreetly hide a bone, he isn’t a barker, thank goodness, and doesn’t tear things apart. Sunning himself on the trampoline is much more his style.
Around the house he is great. Scout has a beautiful shiny short coat that isn’t left all over the floor and furniture, which is wonderful as he likes to slip onto the lounge for cuddle time; we don’t mind that at all as he is such a big charmer.
Scout will stay an active dog and will need a life which includes a lot of fun.
He is a dog that likes company so will need either a person home regularly or another playful dog to hang out with. He is definitely a hard one to let go.
Scout is in foster care in Floraville, NSW. For more information or to meet Scout, please phone his foster carer Jason & Karen on 02 4947-7703 or 0432 672 356 or email jkbjscott@sctelco.net.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
