About Jazzy (On Trial 26/12/12)
A small staffy cross, Jazzy has a vibrant, happy personality. Jazzy is very intelligent and would be easy to train, she's an active 1 year old.
Jazzy is such a wonderful friendly and social girl, she adores humans and other dogs, she currently shares a garden with 4 big dogs and is very happy!!
She can be a little nervous of new places (especially when out walking) but settles very quickly, for the first week she would only walk behind me, but now shes more confident than ever, ready to explore the big world we live in! Jazzy loves long walks and regular human interaction, shes very playful and plays wonderfully with her foster brother Bruno, these two would make a perfect pair if someone is looking for 2 dogs, they are bonded and play together for hours!!
Jazzy is well behaved in the house but very inquisitive and will walk around and sniff everything before settling down, she has met the family cat and was scared at first, now she just wants to play with it!!
Jazzy loves to be fussed and shown loads of attention, she would need a family who will include her in thier daily activites and with another canine companion for her. She hasnt been tested with kids but she loves all humans shes been introduced to so far.
Jazzy is in foster care in Watanobbi NSW, Central Coast. For more information or to meet Jazzy, please phone foster carer Kelly on 0412 464 177.
www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Our $400 adoption fee covers the dog's de-sexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, micro-chipping, and lifetime registration.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
