Schminky

Schminky is an active and affectionate boy who is very loving towards his human companions. He was a very fearful and nervous dog when he first arrived from the Pound but is now becoming more confident every day. Schminky can be a little unsure with strangers but is working with a behaviourist and this is improving daily and his new family will be shown how to manage introductions to make sure he is good with this. Lately Schminky has started playing with toys and his other canine companions which is lovely to see. He loves soft toys and quite enjoys rumbles with humans and other doggies. Schminky also enjoys a run at the dog park and is good at coming when he is called. He does have a minor heart murmur that will need to be checked annually but requires no medication. Schminky enjoys his food and is not a fussy eater at all. He would love a home with other canine companions and would not be suitable for a home where he is left alone for long periods of time.
