About Quazi (On Trial 29/12/12)
Hi my name is Quazi and I am a 6 month old ridgeback cross puppy. I am very loving and like to please my owners. I absolutely love playing fetch and I am really smart for a puppy. I got toilet trained very quickly and I can also sit, stay and fetch.
I love following my owners around and love to be close to them. I also love playing with my toys and I will bring my squeaky toy and lay near my owners because I just love to be close to them. One of my favourite toys is my kong. I get so excited when my owners put a treat in it, I will sit and play with it and try to get the treat out. Sometimes I find if I throw it up in the air and then chase it as it bounces everywhere the treat will come out so this is my go to move. Oh and did I tell you I love to play fetch, I do I do.
I sleep inside in the laundry on a little blanket and rarely have accidents in the laundry. During the day I wander the yard and like to chase bugs and fly’s and sniff around. I also like sleeping in my kennel and lying out and stretching in the sun.
I don’t bark at night at all but I do bark a little when my owners get home but that’s just because I have to tell them “I MISSED YOU, I MISSED YOU”. I love playing fetch when my owners get home and going on walks. I am a bit scared sometimes to go too far from the house because I have not lived here for very long and it’s all new to me. But I am getting over this quickly and I don’t think it will be a problem at all because I like walking. I have my own little bench by the beach that I like to go and sit on and watch all the people and other dogs go past. This is my favourite bench because all the girls come up and want to pat me because I am a cutie. I know how to play the ladies, I just give them my puppy dog eyes and they pat me and scratch my belly. Ohhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! Belly scratches I looooooooove belly scratches.
I currently don't live with other dogs but I am getting used to socialising with other dogs in my street. I was scared at first but now I am getting quite good with them and will run up and down and play with them. I am a little naughty at times and jump on my owners or on the couch but it’s because I just love being close to my owners. I am constantly learning and getting better. So if my new owners keep training me I will be fine because I learn quickly. I do have some energy but remember I am still a puppy. If I don’t go on a walk at the end of the day I just play a little bit of fetch in the backyard and it quickly tires me out.
I would love an owner that likes getting affection from me and will keep me entertained with walks, fetch, training and squeaky toys.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
