About Sally
Sally is a gorgeous old chook who is looking for a new home as sadly her mum is ill and can no longer take care of her. Luckily for Sally, one of her mum's friends has stepped forward and will take care of Sally until we find her a lovely new home. Sally is currently living in a retirement village and goes out for walks twice a day with anyone in the village who is prepared to take her. Sally gets along with most of the dogs that she meets but can be selective at times. The rest of Sally's days are spent on the veranda where she watches the passing parade. She has a comfy bed there and usually sleeps the day away when she is not 'sticky beaking' at all and sundry! Sally loves her toys, especially her squeaky toy and a stuffed dog that she plays with ..., she is a very lively girl. Sally sleeps in her minder's bedroom on and off and, if it is a little warm in the bedroom, she will wander to a cooler part of the house where she has yet another bed to sleep in. Sally loves to be stroked and enjoys time on her minder's knee. She enjoys her food and has chicken wings and both dry food and wet food each day with her special treat being a Schmacko. Sally quite likes children and would be suited to any number of homes but one where she is the only dog would be best as she does love all of the attention. Sally's mum adopted her from Hawkesbury Pound about six years ago and she has had her regular vet trips for a check up since then. Sally is house trained and is very much a house dog with a coat needs a little bit of grooming and bathing to keep her looking gorgeous.
