About Tia (On Trial 25/5/13)
Tia (Ms Tia Maria) Koolie X less than 12 months old. Loves life. She is a very sweet girl who loves her exercise, training, doggy friends and human love. She is a passionate learner and very eager to please and has already mastered running beside a bike on the lead and running behind the horses.
In such a short time Tia has mastered many new skills and attitudes. She tries very hard to remember to sit for a pat and not get over excited. She has learned 'come' and will perk up and run to your side even from 100's metres away if she hears you call. She 'stays' when her bowl is placed before her until told to eat and is a lot more relaxed now playing and eating around other dogs.
Tia LOVES people and will shadow you everywhere even if I'm moving from room to room. Tia has met the rabbit and cat and is learning to ignore them, yet would benefit from more work if housed with cats. She loves her doggy friends and is compatible with a dog that will race around the yard with her and play tug o war in a non aggressive manner. Tia is not dominant at all and is intimidated if another dog is overly dominant.
Tia has been inside and out during the day, and is put to bed in the laundry or crate at night, although I'm sure she'd be more than happy to sleep on a bed once she settled to sleep.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
