About Lily (On Trial 10/1/13)
Lily is a 1 year old female kelpie x. She loves to lay at your feet and get a belly rub. She loves to come inside and lay on the lounge of a night. She is not a barker and enjoys spending her days playing tug and other games with our other 2 dogs.
Lily would be suited to a home with a no other dogs or possibly an old submissive dog, as Lily likes to be the top dog. Being a kelpie, Lily needs plenty of exercise and playtime with people to keep her intelligent mind active. She will benefit from further training and greatly enjoy the challenge and attention.
Unsure how she is with children as we don't have any.
Lily is a lovely dog, full of potential and ready to being her new life in a loving home.
For more information or to meet Lily please phone foster carer Annette on 02-4362-9800 or 0404-099-021 or email davo@bigpond.net.au . Lily is in foster care in Ourimbah, NSW (Central Coast) and is available for adoption interstate.
Lily's $400 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. Dog Rescue Newcastle www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Your support allows us to continue saving other homeless dogs like Lily.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
