Update from Charlies carer:

"Charlie is such a cool guy! He came to us with some general anxiety,
thunderstorm phobia and a penchant for escaping and wandering but with some
boundaries and good daily exercise he has really settled well and these issues
have not been a problem here.
He has learnt some basic manners, how to come when he is called and we showed
him how to heel on a loose leash.

He is great with small kids and cats (see last photo)

He greets you in the morning with such enthusiasm, he is very motivational!
He may be 10 years old but he's not slowing down yet. He's a really fit active
bloke, he has enjoyed daily morning 6klm walks with the other dogs in our pack.

He really really loves to run, and enjoys a short 20min run beside the bike in
the afternoon to the creek for a dip and back again, he has slimmed down
considerably since being with us.
He's got pretty good dog social skills so long as he gets to drain his energy
regularly with daily walks and runs, other wise he can be a bit excitable and
boisterous.

He's very playful, loves fetch and tug of war and general romping
about with the other dogs.
He is very respectful of the cat. He is gives a lot of respect around food, and
is good with kids.

He is very responsive to firm confident corrections and
happy to work for food or play rewards- very trainable.
This old dog has got plenty of new tricks in him yet. "
