About Mario (On Trial 25/11/12)
Mario is my name and they say I am a 3 year old Shitzu X. Being a boy, I like to think of myself as not only a gentleman but a bit of a Casanova. I have a few simple pleasures in life and am more of a giver than a taker. Number 1 - I love to snuggle down on a lap and press my little body in as close as possible. Number 2 - I like to be by your side and wait at the front door wagging my tail to let you know how much I missed you when you get home. Number 3 - I am a little man of few words and am just looking for someone to give all my love and devotion to.
I really like all the other dogs I am living with but am also cool with being an only dog too. Cats are no problem either. Being a gentleman I do my business outside!
I am ideally looking for a "furever" home that is relaxed, quiet and loves to receive lots of cuddles! Nothing makes my tail wag like the sound of the lead, so a walking partner preferred. I love the outdoors, especially pottering around the garden with my foster carer.
My coat is my crowning glory and I show off my best behaviour at the pet salon. I don't shed so will need brushing, bathing and trips to the groomer.
So if you are looking for a loyal, loving friend - Pick me!!!
For more information or to meet Mario please phone foster carer Shiree on 02 4392 1834 or 0405 567 099 or email shiree78@hotmail.com . Mario is in foster care on the Central Coast, NSW 2259.
Mario's $450 adoption fee covers his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration.
Your support allows us to continue saving other homeless dogs like Mario. www.DogRescueNewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
