About Charlotte (On Trial 9/12/12)
Charlotte is an 11 month old Jack Russell x Tibetan Spaniel. She is a sweet, affectionate, happy little girl. She would fit into most loving homes so long as she is inside and part of the family. Charlotte loves romping in the back yard with my male dachshund. She also enjoys playing with toys and chew sticks. She has the most beautiful strawberry blonde coat and looks forward to being brushed daily after her walk. People often say to me how beautiful she is.
Charlotte barks a little when she hears a noise. She has basic obedience training and will come, sit, and stay when asked...well, most of the time. She can be a bit timid when she meets new people but soon gets to love them. She absolutely adores going for a daily walk and is good on lead and off. She is friendly with other dogs that she meets on walks. She loves to paddle in the shallow water around the lake. Sometimes she likes to run around the yard and play chase and wrestle with my little dog. Other times she just wants to sit with me on the lounge and have her belly rubbed. She is a lovely little companion. Charlotte is an inside dog and needs to be inside with the family. She sleeps inside and is housetrained. She is not a picky eater; she'll eat most foods. Her favourite is cooked mince with rice and grated potato and carrot.
We can't be sure of her exact breed. We think Jack Russell crossed with either Tibetan Spaniel or maybe long haired Chihuahua. She is a young dog, barely out of puppyhood. \ Charlotte would love to have another little dog, preferably male as a playmate in her forever home, but would be fine as only dog, as long as her human family have time to play with her.
For more information or to meet Charlotte please phone foster carer Terrie on 02 4023 8333 or 0451 469 494 or email tbeth23@gmail.com . Charlotte is in foster care near Charlestown, NSW 2290 (northern Lake Macquarie, adjoining Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Charlotte's $400 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
