Merry *On Trial in Her New Home*

*MERRY IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HER NEW HOME* Are you brimming with “Christmas kindness” just waiting to do something really special this year? Why not help our beautiful little girl “Merry” and give her the gift of a “new forever home”!!

Adorable Merry, with the one floppy ear, came to SARG after her former owners asked us to help find her a new home as their work commitments took them away too often and they hated to see her “home alone”, so that’s where we came in and said we’d be thrilled to find Merry some company in a loving new home.

Merry is a clever girl indeed, she has graduated from both Puppy Preschool and Level 1 Delta training so she has mastered the basics, and is terrific on a lead too. \ She is eager and keen to practice, so would love to keep working hard at “Dog School” with her new humans. This will help with her energy levels as well. \ She also loves a good game of fetch or tug-o-war; she’s lots of fun!

While she has been in foster care Merry has met some other dogs and gets along fine with them. She is good with cats, just as long as the cats are “dog friendly cats” which don’t make her too nervous. This loving little girl is good around adults as well as older children who she just wants to play with though we wouldn’t recommend her for toddlers as she could be a bit much for them when she’s excited and bouncing around. She’d be a perfect little dog for an “active” household.

In her former home Merry wasn’t an “inside girl”, so she’s been exploring how truly wonderful this experience is while in care and likes to snuggle up next to you and watch tv. Merry will need a bath every 4-6 weeks and some regular brushing to keep her coat in “tip top” condition; she would love this as her special time with you as she thrives on attention. An inside / outside lifestyle would suit her well, with a lovely yard with plenty of toys to play with to burn up that youthful energy, and keep her clever mind busy. Even though Merry likes to play with other dogs we reckon she’d like her humans all to herself in her forever home. Foster mum said she is a loving caring little girl who bonds with you very quickly.
