On Hold
About Rocket -Desexed and Vaccinated
Rocket is a gorgeous little mini lop, who has had a very hard start to life. We rescued him from the pound, where sadly so many bunnies had been dumped that the cages were overcrowded due to lack of room. Rocket has been badly picked on by the other rabbits, and has little hair on his back and covered in bites, some with puss oozing out. He is not feeling too well at the moment, however will completely recover with time. He also had dandruff as a result of mites, which he's been treated for.
Rocket got his name because he was so quiet upon arrival. He had a full health check which showed that he was allright, however it is likely that the wounds made movement uncomfortable. Now that he's been with us for a while, he has completely healed, and the fur is even growing out. His personality has come through, and he no longer sits still and despondent. Instead, when you open the door to his enclosure he is there waiting for pats. He is an affectionate boy who is very gentle and sweet. He has now been desexed and vaccinated, so it ready for a new home.
Medical notes
Treated with Revolution upon arrival for mites.
Vaccinated -please note that due to the release of calici virus, all bunnies adopted from us will be vaccinated.
Desexing normally costs anywhere from $100-$360. Vaccinations are from $40-80 (costs differ between vet clinics). Therefore please don't try to haggle the price of the animal for adoption. If you can't afford the adoption fee, you certainly wont afford the ongoing costs associated with animals
