About Bundy (adopted 1/2013)
Bundy is a 1-2 year old sheltie x, and is an absolute joy to have around! He is small (only 7.5kg). Bundy LOVES cuddles. He would be happy to sit on your lap all day if you let him! He is a sweet boy who follows me around the house and quietly watches while I cook dinner or do the laundry. He also loves his afternoon walks, but he isn’t particularly active and is fine to stay home if the weather doesn’t suit. He also doesn’t bark much at all, unless he has something very important to say!
Bundy and has been very gentle with the children I have introduced him to. He has no aggression whatsoever, but I would recommend slightly older children as he does get excited and jump up when you come home. That said, he has not jumped up on my two year old cousin – he does seem to understand he needs to be gentle around kids.
Bundy is fully house-trained (not a single accident!). He is highly intelligent and sensitive – a house where people are often angry or yell would not suit him, as he gets upset if you are upset. He also needs a home where someone is home most of the day, as he does fret if left alone for long periods of time. However a friendly dog at home could be ok too, as he loves his doggy friends. He would definitely need to be an inside dog – he is far too people orientated to leave him out in the yard.
I can’t fault Bundy – he is by far the sweetest dog I have had the pleasure of looking after. If you have any other questions about him you are welcome to contact me, preferably after 5pm as I am at work on week days.
For more information or to meet Bundy please phone foster carer Regina on 0409 831 754. Bundy is in foster care in Wallsend, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID to prove you live there.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
