About Xena
Xena is a 6yr old Cattle Dog x. She is a lovely dog with a lovely temperment. \ She loves cuddles and being near the family. She is great with children and has been around a 2 1/2 year old who loves her. She is obedient and responds to sit, drop, stay, speak and shake. She doesn’t chew shoes etc.
Xena likes to play ball and swim, although is a bit wary of the surf. She loves walks and although she initially pulls as she is excited she does settle down after about 6 minutes.
Xena has grown up with another dog and is good with even tempered dogs, however does not get on with dogs that try to dominate her or are aggressive towards her. She hasn’t grown up around cats.
She needs good fencing to keep her in, but has never strayed far from home if she did get out.
For more information about Xena or to meet her please call Melissa on 0410 445 689.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID to prove you live there.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
