Pickles (desexed) and Fibbles (desexed)

Fibbles and Pickles are two elderly guinea pigs that were surrendered to our shelter. It was through no fault of their own, as the family found the kids had lost interest, and they were considering getting a puppy. This was the second home that we know they've been through, however we don't know just how many people have rehomed them in the past. It's very sad for everyone here to see such elderly animals being handed on, and we hope that Pickles and Fibbles will finally find a home where they can live out their entire lives without changing families.

Pickles is the female tri colour crested guinea pig, and Fibbles is the brown male. Neither has been desexed, so that is the first thing we'll be getting done! If Pickles was to fall pregnant at such an old age, there is an overwhelming liklihood that she'd die in childbirth. It's not a risk that should be taken with any guinea pig.

Pickles and Fibbles were treated for mites upon arrival, and their overgrown nails trimmed.
